An original retelling of the English ballad “The Cruel Sister.”  I was inspired by “Dreadful Wind and Rain” by Isabel Greenberg, and the song “Two Sisters” by Andrew Bird. An excerpt from this publication won a gold medal at the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards.
